You can contact us by  telephone, email or mail to inquire about facilities and availability of rooms. We do not have an on-line booking system as we prefer to deal directly with our guests.

Booking

A 20% deposit by cheque or bank transfer will secure your booking. Please make cheques payable to Rose Cottage. We can also offer deposit payment by PayPal but this will incur a charge to cover costs.

No booking is confirmed until a deposit is received.

Regretfully, we do not currently have facilities to accept credit or debit cards. We only accept balance payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer.

Please note that rooms will be reserved until 6.00pm on the day of arrival. Please inform us if you are due to arrive after this time. If we have not heard from you by 7.00pm we reserve the right to re-let the room.

Rooms can be occupied after 4.00pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. Please note we are a Bed and Breakfast not a hotel and we do not provide access to Rose Cottage during the daytime.

We want everyone visiting Rose Cottage to have a relaxing stay and peaceful nights sleep, to help us achieve this the front door is locked at 11.00pm. 

We know accidents happen from time to time, if you have any problems please let us know so we can sort it, we won't bite!

Serious damage will incur a charge.

 We reserve the right to refuse entry.

Although we will do our utmost to avoid cancelling a booking at any time, we reserve the right to do so, but will endeavour to offer an alternative if possible or a full refund, less the daily rate for each day or part there of that you may have occupied the property.

Cancellation

Please contact us giving as much notice as possible if you wish to cancel a room reservation.

Deposits, less a £7.50 administration fee per room per night plus any bank charges, will be refunded provided we are given 7 days notice of cancellation.

Deposits for cancellations less than 7 days in advance will not be refunded.
